Terms of Service

Last updated: August 13, 2026

These are the rules of KO Collectibles. We wrote them to be understood: what you can do, what you can't, and what happens when something goes wrong.

This is an English translation of our Spanish Terms of Service, provided so you can read what you agree to. If the two versions ever differ, the Spanish version applies.

1. What KO is

KO Collectibles is a person-to-person marketplace for trading cards, figures and memorabilia, with tournaments and a progression system. We provide the platform, the payment system and dispute resolution; the items belong to whoever lists them, not to us.

2. Your account

3. Buying, selling and trading

When you buy, the payment is held. The seller can see it exists but does not receive it until you confirm the item arrived and is as described. That is escrow, and it is the heart of KO.

About the coin flip: in some trades both parties can agree to settle a tie with a random coin flip. It is not a bet: no money is wagered, both parties have to accept beforehand, and both contribute randomness, so not even we can know the result in advance.

4. What cannot be sold

Listing any of the following is grounds for immediate removal and, depending on the case, account closure:

5. How people are treated here

The chat exists to close deals, not for anything else. Harassment, threats and scam attempts — including taking a deal outside KO to get around escrow — are sanctioned.

You can report a user or a listing from the app. We review every report.

Be careful about leaving the platform: if someone suggests paying outside KO, you lose escrow and all protection. It is the usual pattern of scams in collectibles marketplaces. If it happens to you, report it.

6. When something goes wrong

If what you receive is not what was described, or it doesn't arrive, you open a dispute from the transaction itself. The KO team reviews both parties' evidence — description, photos, messages, shipment tracking — and decides whether the payment is released or refunded.

Our decision in a dispute is final within the platform. That does not take away any rights you have under the law.

7. Tournaments and prizes

8. KOins, badges and community goals

KOins are internal points of the platform. They are not money, have no value outside KO and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred between accounts.

Badges reflect your history in each section and can go up or down depending on your activity. Community goals share their reward among the members who are verified at the moment the goal is reached; we publish the threshold and the reward before that happens.

9. We are in beta

KO is in closed testing. There may be bugs, outages and changes. We will announce any relevant change, but during this phase the service is provided as is. Transactions with real money made during the beta are just as binding.

10. Limits of liability

We are responsible for the platform and escrow working as described here. We are not responsible for the authenticity, condition or legality of what users list: that is what verification, reports and disputes are for.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules, and remove listings we consider fraudulent or prohibited.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change something important we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use KO after that means you accept it.
